Wall Street, Next Week September 14, 1998

1. MARKET RALLY?
2. WISH LISTS
3. COMPUTER STOCKS
4. INVESTING/TRADING EDITIONS
5. LETTERS

WATCH for DJIA 7469 - the official happy bear market number.

Forget President Pinnochio's problems. It is Asia to Russia to South America to Mexico to Japan to Canada to US! The Fall in corporate earnings is coming - beware.

I repeat: Clinton Troubles, Russian Disasters, Latin American Melt Down, Japanese Banks Bankrupt, Poor US Corporate Earnings. Buy and Hold? Hell NO! My mama did raise no dummy - did yours?

DON'T LET THIS BE YOU: Investors who just two weeks ago begged to get out on a rally, bought stock last Tuesday. Don't forget selling is AS IMPORTANT AS BUYING to long term investors. We have some mildly positive influences for a few days, but for fundamentally poor reasons: to save Latin America and Asia from COLLAPSING. Buy or Sell? The rational choice is obvious.

Note: We are rather proud of our recent Intel, Japan and Gold calls.

Key date: September 17
PIVOT: DJIA 7600 - SPZ 988
DJIA: S1 7520 S2 7388 S3 6950 - R1 7777 R2 7865 R3 7908
Bonds: Sell 6:15OB; Short 5.98-6.05
JAPAN: Sell to 13,500 OB

2. 1000+ points drops can be expected from the resignation of any of the following:

President Clinton, Federal Reserve Chief Alan Greenspan or Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin.

These may be relatively unlikely events, but are you prepared? Don't expect to be able to reach your broker in real time. So place orders WELL UNDERNEATH THE MARKET from your WISH LIST. Have buy order placed at least 15-25% below the market. For us, it would be CPQ at 18-20 or JNJ at 52 or 67. Remember, while, our forecast is for a 6000-8600 DJIA, there are NO guarantees. The market can't go to 5000 or even 4000. So don't be fully invested at such "Bargain basement" pricing.

"[09/09] The Astrologers Fund is short term negative on Japan ahead of the September semi-annual reporting period. With several NEGATIVE-NET WORTH Banks, we are lowering trading Nikkei support to 13,500 from 14,000."

Friday, Japan dropped 749 to 13916.

Bargain hunting watch in order of preference: Sony (SNE), SHISEIDO. (SSDOY), FUJISTU, CANNON (CANNY), AMWAY JAPAN (AJL).

UP Stars IBM

Next week is US option expiration. When we go long (as a traders), we will be buying IBM as our instrument of choice.

3. Internet Stocks and emerging markets are the JUNK BONDS of the1990's.

4. The primary difference between Investing editions and Trading editions of Wall Street, Next Week is that the Trading edition includes the Investing edition PLUS WSNW Alerts and Daily Market Commentary (for open Wall Street Alerts). FYI: On Wednesday, we issued a SELL, SELL, in our daily comments, which previously would have been WSNW Alerts 33A,B. Following in this week's LETTERS, we give more details.

5. Pls let me know WHEN that NEXT eclipse will be a-commen, these UP record days sure do help fund the Christmas party :=].

A: January 31 and February 16 1999.

Q: How can I get charts on the Bradley model?

A: You have three choices:

1) Newsletters such as Greg Meadors Market Systems Newsletter, email: Greg Meadors or Fax (818) 247-6310

2) Web sites such as Astrikos Trading

3) Computer programs such as the Financial Trader.

Q: From this weeks issue of WSNW I understand there are several kinds of WSNW, Investing and trading editions. Because I have to live from my work with options and stocks, the trading version should be the one for me, but I do not know which version I have subscribed to.

A: CURRENTLY THEY ARE THE SAME. The main difference is:

Wall Street Alerts and Daily Commentary which in future will be given only to trading edition subscribers. A

LL subscribers will shortly have member only areas on the Astrologers Fund web site. Trading edition subscribers will have access to all the investing info but not vice versa.

Q: Would the trading edition be emailed directly or does one have to go into the site each day to find out.

A: At the moment a site visit is required, but we may change this to a daily email at a future date.

Q: How much is the platinum account cost and how much does it entail?

A: $3500 per year. In addition to answering questions of general interest, we answer personal market questions on stocks/bourses we cover as well as on open WSNW trades.

Q: I have just recently joined up and paid 1 years subscription-how much would it cost to make it into a 2 year subscription now as I am a trader and need the updates more often as compared to a two year subscription at the old rates?

A: To add one more year at current pricing is $300, 2 more additional is $500.

You forecast the Dow being 7001.67 on 12/31/99, does this mean there will not be enough rallies in the next 12 months to make good profits, or will most of the advantages come from shorting the market?

HW: Fall 1998 and almost all of 1999 is a trading (NOT trending) market. There will be plenty of rallies and mini-crashes.

Canyon's biggest project is the McDonald project north of Helena, MT. A ballot initiative is being prepared for November which would outlaw gold projects with cyanide leaching in the state of Montana which would effectively kill this project. I rate this stock as a strong sell targeting bankruptcy.

HW: Thank you. As I prefer Gold majors at this time, and Canyon was not an astrological call, but a recommendation from value investor, it was taken off our watch and buy lists Friday.

Congratulations for your forecast chart regarding the CAC40 since end of July. For the time being the forecast is perfect - so it seems that the 3700is a strong support. Thus we should have the rally until mid of October.

HW: Those forecasts are not mine, but those of the fine French financial astrologer: JF Richards - Fax 33160753180. In my opinion, technically those are the indications if you choose to ignore current geo-political events.

This week's TIME Magazine cover story is about the stock market. Its called, "Is The Boom Over?" Is this a Contrarian buy signal suggesting that the market's trend usually last another month and then reverses?

HW: I agree there is one more intermediate term sucker rally coming, but after that....
