1. Money flows into mutual funds were incredible last month - Ponzi would be proud. The NYC Summer heat is making me lazy. I once again propose DJIA 9000 for pivot with 8500 and 9200 P1 support and resistance. Will Bull complacency last until the Sun enter Leo (July 22) and the New Moon of July 23? Watch July 17 for clues!
Keydate: July 17.
2. NO more STOCK OF THE MONTH Picks until October. We continue to recommend cashing OUT, (up to 50%) and not shooting for the last 1/8. "As Dupont (DD) goes, so goes the nation." Or was that GM? Anyway, few good earnings surprises expected this Summer OR Fall.
Trading wise, we still recommend holding WSNW Alerts 30, ABC.
Minor trading this week, again deja vue:
Buying Motorola or AA or using on the long side of a hedge.
ATT reached P1 55 and would reshort to P2 stops under 50 and/or selling MO again close to 40.
3. Interested in corporate or business astrology? We have begun posting information on our web site at: STRATEGIC PLANNING BY THE STARS.
4. Believe it or not, there are actually people who don't use astrology in the stock market. I am told some academics even don't believe in astrology! If you know any such lost souls, refer them to our new posting area: SKEPTICS CORNER
5. Our cycle work suggests a peak between July 19-29,1998 and a drop of more than 3000 points on DJIA by either late September or October, 1998.
P.S. Are you familiar with the GrandCross of July 1999? What are the implications of the Grand Cross?
A: Only 3,000? Yes, the Grand Cross is bound to shake up a number of eco-political systems including the Euro.
I visited your home page today and found your alerts for 7-7 and 7-8; being a subscriber to WSNW I supposed I would receive them by e-mail. I can assure you your comments are of great value to me. Am I in a mistake supposing I should receive the comments for 7-7 and 7-8? Because of the time lag, I find the comments a day late but if you send them before closing like the other alerts I received they reach me in time.
HW: These are not alerts. I am experimenting with the idea of a daily update and commentary to current alerts. Everyone has a different price entry/exit and risk reward for these - here are ours: WSNW. I have been posting before market open 9:30 am on my site and just before/after market close 4pm ET and near real time feedback trading plays - misteaks and all. However, this is mostly for open WNSW alerts and minor, NOT major, day trades. This particular experiment ends July 17th.
Q: Also can you tell me how much you use DECL is your star charting for stocks and how many charts do you use on each company? For example what market, sector, IPO, Inc. date and natal, transit, progressions, solar return etc.
A: A very good question. I personally don't use DECL as much as I could (should). My answer depends on the amount of money involved in the forecast as well as how much fundamental and technical input I have i.e. first or second/confirming opinion? What works is all that you have mentioned and MORE! Unfortunately, I rarely have the time to do that much work.
In the June 28 ISBA bimontly online meeting, Bill Meridian noted that "on the average, over the last 200 years, US stocks have falled by 7% as Saturn transits Taurus. Saturn will be in Taurus through the Summer of 2000.
HW: Given that the US Stock Market is a native of Taurus (born May 17, 1792), this makes sense to me.
"Can you afford NOT to have financial astrology in YOUR future?"
