WHEN DIAMONDS ARE NOT FOREVER
You can either sell Debeers (DBRSY) or you call 1800-divorce.
When stocks are not forever..... Well. we will talk about that in
November.
October 10 to 13 is more a time to buy, not so much a time to sell.
This is no time for Vegetarians - we are hoping to see plenty of
red blood first, especially if margin calls are triggered. Have your
buy list prepared and dream entry prices entered with your broker.
If margins calls are triggered, then we jump in and you will be
executed. Otherwise, we dip in the waters with multiple entries for two
weeks of upcoming bullish fantasy.
STOPS ARE THE LESSONS OF XEROX AND APPLE:
A 50% LOSS REQUIRES A 100% GAIN TO RETURN TO BREAKEVEN.
Before, during, or just after Friday the 13th, we anticipate a BIG
pre-post election Rally to begin.
If you have money or margin to buy with, THIS IS WHEN WE RECOMMEND
YOU DO SO.
But remember: buy quality. Early next year, "junk stocks" will be
worth junk!
KEY DATES: OCT 10/11, 13
GLOBAL MARKETS: TRIPLE BUY INTO WEAKNESS
EURO: BUY 87 OB

"Blue Chip discounts are expected by September/early October. Lesser
quality stocks may be bought at 104 week lows or even 90% lower.
Be patient. We may or may not be right. Naturally we think we will be.
Just make sure you have enough cash put aside given our historical probability
of being right again."
For WSNW subscribers we will be posting our 5 TOP Aggressive stock
picks and 5 TOP Conservative stock picks ideas there for the post-Ides
of October stock rally.

Real technology companies like UTX and ROK are likely winners over under financed startups. Accumulate the stocks of such good companies as these upon weakness.
I SHARES or exchange traded funds are one convenient, lost cost way to buy and sell market sectors.

of elimination. One to eliminate is earnings, the second is oil prices
and the third is the Euro."
Peter Cardillo, director of research, Westfalia Investments.
HW: We seem to be 1/3 there.
There's a lot of anxiety about the four `E's' -- earnings, euro,
energy and the election.''
Kevin Bannon, chief investment officer, BNY Asset Management.
HW: Sounds like an early warning contrarian BUY signal to me!

Friday the 13th has such a bad reputation."

HW: And I will be buying and buying and buying. However, I may be
waiting until 4pm Friday to party hardy.
5. READER: Trading wise (not investing) when are you looking to purchase
again for end of year run up?
HW: Most of next week, with most profit taking BEFORE election eve.
READER: I was wanting to 'invest' in INTC after next week and want
to know if that's a good idea if it doesn't get down to 37.
HW: Long term you will alright. Short term, I am trying to
buy QUALITY stocks as cheaply as I can before the IDES [15th] of October.
READER: Still like it [XEROX: XRX], at these levels?
HW: As traders, we did NOT like it once it failed its last run up
after the take over rumors. We are planning to invest some money in it
as a part of 2000 "dog" buys 8-10.
READER: Where does one find your broadcast?
HW: We broadcast Thursday mornings on ABSLIVE at AFUND
MARKET COMMENTARY.
READER: Just saw that CCCAF does not trade the question is: is CCCAF
the same company as CCCA.O? Then what to do if I'm long CCCAF?
HW: If you have CCCAF that is fine - it is really the same, but
does not trade but is so notated by some firms. In a few months, it should
be all the same. It may be you own CCCA* and it is not notated right. B
by the time you wish to sell some, i.e.if/ when the stock is $0.75 to 1
or so, I hope and expect it to be straightened out. We see this is
a very speculative, but REAL play and therefore should track its fundamentals
at www.screenphoneworld.net
and www.cancall.com as they develop.
READER: Since I am a SILVER...is it possible to "upgrade" to a GOLD?
If so, how much extra should I pay to get GOLD status.
HW: Yes, we credit the difference. Gold is $1000 for one year
and we credit the difference.
NOTE: The price of TRDING (gold) Wall Street, Next Week is increasing
January 1, 2001.
it will be $500 per quarter, $1500 one year and $2500 for two years.
Any WSNW readers may renew/extend at the old rate of $300 per quarter,
$1000 for one year or $1500 for two years until then.
READER: ... I want to get DAILY ALERTS via e-mail that I must be
a GOLD Subscriber?
HW: Our daily market commentary requires access to our Gold channel,
and yes, you need to be a gold subscriber and have another password.
READER: I was looking over your notes [THE
IHI STORY PART 13] and the second bullet point speaks of IHI producing
a superior product at a substantially lower cost, yet can easily be sold
at par to conventional housing. Your second sentence states that
demand will not be able to keep up with production for at least two years.
If that is the case, why is IHI ordering a second manufacturing line?
HW: My error in writing. I meant to say "I believe that production
will not be able to keep up with overwhelming demand for IHI products for
at least two years."
READER: I've noticed that you have been very low key in your promotion
of IHI over the past several months. Smart move. Promotion
of the "real thing" will attract a lot more interest and buying than a
"potential" new technology that has taken forever to prove itself.
You have been a long time champion of Roger and what he is incubating in
Vancouver. I too share your conviction that his dream will soon find
life. I will look forward to the day when I can lift a glass of the
bubbly with you at the factory to celebrate the birth of this new building
technology. Your long time support will finally be rewarded.
HW: If I continue to say the same things about IHI over and over,
it will be boring. We are happy long term investors in IHITF. I strongly
believe our faith and pocketbooks will be amply rewarded, short term, intermediate
term and especially long term.
READER: When you indicate a price in red and there are lower prices
in the line, are you thinking that it is not likely to go to the lower
price and you have upped you target.
HW: No, it just reached our first target. In general, we are
not buying ahead of our time frame of October 10-13 or until P2, or better
still, P3 reached
