READER: A story to follow?  A Bottle from the Past

READER: I just got to read your wine writings.
Your #1 wine -[10 Desert Island Wine Choices] Chateau Musar - is one of the great wines of the world. Through the 1980's (1986-1993) I drank all the 1964 and 1966 Chateau Musar that I could. Only a couple of restaurants were bright enough to have it on their lists, and, fortunately, my grandfather had laid down the bottles which I inherited.

It is from Lebanon. Once their war started, the original family lost their vineyard and only in recent years did they recoup it.
Another of their great wines is Chateau Kefreya.
