We think there is more good news coming ahead of November 6th.  We will buy once at market close and once shortly.   As this is high risk, you may prefer to just enter once.  Safest trades are DJIA futures and specifically Citibank (C).  More exciting is Cisco (CSCO) which reports Monday morning AM.
We see Nasdaq likely to reach 1800.

October 3, 2001
We are issuing WSNW Alert 53C BUY as we believe markets will target pre-911 levels e.g. DJIA 9605 and Nasdaq 1695 by early November.  Clearly there is a war and counter-attack potential as well as tax loss selling that may influence whether you should take quick profits or simply buy and hold until November.

We will buy twice, once between 11:00 and 11:20 am and once at between 8750-8790.  Should the latter not be executed, we may do our second buy at market close today or tomorrow’s if other signals confirm them.

We continue to like Citibank (C ) which has an intermediate term target of 48. Another possibility is Microsoft (MSFT) which has a positive horoscope as well as an October 25 Window XP Launch to get it back to 58+. However, we would not want to hold it past the launch date. More possibilities include Xerox (XRX) to 9.50+, Yahoo (YHOO) to 12 and Foundry (FDRY) back to 9+.

This is another very high risk play.   The market COULD collapse, but I don’t feel it.
I think news will be favorably received tomorrow, so we recommend buying on close for high risk trading accounts.
We like DT, YHOO, CHKP and BRCD, but not the DJIA where there is more risk. I prefer Nasdaq or QQQ.
Naturally if the news is bad tomorrow, get out fast and hopefully not too painfully.

This is a tightly stopped trade with great risk if appropriate stops are not maintained or the wrong trading instruments are used.
Our target is DJIA 10400-10550.  Our bottom is 10124, although obviously 10,000 is a magnet for bear hunters.   Similarly 1800 is a key bottom for Nasdaq with 1750 possible and our target of 1890-1920.
You can also play this hedged.   As to safe stock buys, these include: Placer (PDG), STEM, Deutsche Telecom (DT), and Celsion (CLN).  Pluto changes direction tomorrow so anything is possible, this is a high risk/medium reward play.

[7/27] We don't think .25 cut by Alan on the 21st of August will amount to much.
Friday's GDP numbers were high: 0.7% growth vs our numbers of 0.45%.
We are on WSNW alert 52 Sell: SPX 1210 AND/OR 2:30-3:15pm OR END OF DAY
We are going short over the weekend as there is significant market risk as the first of two B-Bear days approach August 8.  You may simply wish to raise cash or buy puts.
Depending on the trigger, our cover points are: DJIA 10124 or 9845.
Two comfortable stock shorts are Microsoft (MSFT) and Earthlink (ELNK)
We plan to double up, or re-enter if stopped out, Monday and Thursday.
We also plan to use the next two weeks to buy for long term investors more of our AFUND GLOBAL 12 picks such as IBM and SONY as prices indicated or better.

We would buy before 10am if not in profit by Noon,  be prepared to exit.  We also go long on Friday close. Almost anything  is worth buying for a short term trade. There is not much astrologically, but we like a lot of Nasdaq stocks around here- SAY at 10.40, Xerox at 9, IBM at 112, LU and Csco to name a few.  If we are wrong, we will either exit with a tight leash, or hold positionally for mid-June.
Buy before 2pm; if not in profit by end of day cut loose or join me for a positional trade, not a day trade.

This is a high probability trade, but very tight profit parameters.   Still we expect to see DJIA 11,000 by Wednesday. Therefore we are buying DJIA 10825 OB; NASDAQ  2099 to 2185 OB .  IBM at 113 OB to 118, as usual, is the safest play. NASDAQ 2200 also expected by next week.

March 26  This is again our reiteration of a call to be fully invested short term.  We will see markets testing DJIA 9800 and 10,000 in short order as well as Nasdaq 2000.  Short term traders can add to their positions and buy almost anything-intermediate term, buy quality stocks e.g. IBM.  Wednesday, one can double up and take some profits Thursday close or protect then.  In addition to astrology, this is the close of the quarter and both bargain hunters and money managers want to see markets more than 10% higher.

As long as Monday’s lows are not taken out in Nasdaq except for close stops, this will be a buying opportunity.
DJIA should be above 10,000 soon.  In general markets that drop too fast on “old news” are buying opportunity. We are already fully committed (money management) but see no reason to panic and reason to be FULLY invested.
