Sometimes it is triggered by a simply act of spontaneous kindness. Sometimes it is an unplanned event that magically transforms your life. Sometimes it is a spur of the moment purchase that brings you unexpected value, or a tool that proves to be useful in more ways than you had dreamed possible. For me, most recently, that kind of experience has come with the arrival of the Financial Trader for Windows program from AIR Software. A couple of years ago in Financial Cycles I reviewed the DOS Version, which provided traders with an excellent way of bringing astrological analysis into their daily work with the markets. the DOS version which provided traders with an excellent way of bringing astrological analysis into their daily work with the markets. The DOS version of this program was truly a breakthrough product, since it brought together a variety of elements that had never been previously combined in any computer software package. Since that time, of course, the desktop computer world has switched to Windows, and it was only a matter of time until the Financial Trader program followed along. But the move to the graphical operating system has done more than make Financial Trader easier to look at. This upgrade is a powerful new program with unbelievably diverse capabilities. Trying to review it is a bit like trying to create a world picture that reflects the full majesty of a Gothic cathedral – it is staggering in its scope, daunting in its intricacies. And awe-inspiring in its vision of the service it strives to render. To begin with, it's not fair to consider this a single computer program. Financial Trader for Windows is really a magnificent suite of financial astrology tools – some traditional, some innovative, and all of them extraordinarily powerful. Once you've installed the program and click on its icon on your Windows desktop, the first thing you see is a bold disclaimer screen, reminding you that although the program w was created using methods previously tested by the authors that prove to be useful in forecasting changes in the markets’ that market price changes can't be guaranteed by using the program. This may initially seem like a superfluous warning, but after you've had an opportunity to use the program for a while you can easily understand how you could become over enthusiastic, throwing caution to the winds in your trading as you begin to connect with the cosmic inner workings of the markets. Next comes a title screen, and a pull-down menu offering you a choice of Research tools including Star Trax, Spreadsheet Ephemeris, Dow Date Fill-In, and Financial Analyzer. The Spreadsheet Ephemeris tool allows you to create a geocentric or heliocentric ephemeris in Spreadsheet format. The Dow date Fill-In automatically generates price quotes for the Saturdays, Sundays and holidays in your market data files, so that you can see the true impact of astrological dynamics in the markets. Star Trax is an entire astrological calculation and interpretation program in its own right. It will do all the basic horoscope calculations you would expect from a professional quality program, plus much more. You can display a chart on the screen, then with a click of the mouse you can display a table of the exact arc openings between all of the planetary pairs in the horoscope. You can get an astrological chart on your computer screen, displaying horoscope that automatically updates itself to show you the current planetary dynamics. And you get some of the unique astrological tools that Alphee Lavoie has invented, including the Time Tunnel and The Alphee Twist. In short, you could do much worse than to rely on Star Trax for your day-to-day astrological tasks, which may explain why this part of the suite has been a consistent award winner. It is in the Financial Analyst section, however, that things truly get mind boggling. You can work with composite planetary cycles, overlaying a graphic diagram of the cyclic interactions on a conventional stock market graph. You can use the Black Box to compare New Moons to the charts of any companies you select. You can calculate and display a full range of Bayer models. You can overlay Fibonnacci grids and Gann fans over market charts. You can do multiple searches for up to 15 different planetary cycles at a time. You can customize Bradley models to create your own astrological tools for market analysis. And there's much, much more, including a huge data base of First Trade Charts, incorporation charts and other market horoscopes.  Best of all, this program allows you to create a model of planetary influence on the markets and then back-test to see how well it has worked in the past. You'll instantly get a profitability quote on your screen, saving you hours of research time. There's one word of warning when it comes to hours, however. Be prepared to spend a lot of hours in front of your computer screen, playing with this program. At first you'll need those hours just to get a glimpse of all that the Financial Trader for Windows has to offer you (the videotape which is included with the program on American VHS is extremely hopeful in this regard). But even after you've gotten used to working with the program and can move around inside it more comfortably, you'll still want to spend lots of time there, just because it's so exhilarating to see the amazing results you can generate. In fact , using this program can become so powerfully addictive that you'll probably want to stick up a few post-it notes in strategic places near your computer, reminding you to powered on your computer, get up from your chair, and go attend to other important activities, like taking care of essential bodily functions or practicing some rudimentary conversational skills! But even if you sit glued to your computer for sessions that risk being unhealthy in their duration, who can honestly blame you? After all, what you're really doing is having a mind-expanding experience, exploring the wonderful wealth-producing potential inside a magnificent financial astrology cathedral!

ACS ATLAS AND TIME CHANGES No need to search through the latitudes and longitudes and search for time changes to see if a zone is on standard or daylight time. The program comes with a mini atlas. Just enter the name of the town or city that you want and the coordinates and time zone changes are input automatically.

GRAPHIC RESEARCH This module lets you research dozens of astrological criterions visually. Set a criteria and click or a high and low on the graph and a line will be drawn on the graph where else that this aspects is also true. Does certain astronomical criterions causes turning point in the market? If so which one? An amazing function.

STEPPING FEATURE -  Bring up a price graph onto the screen, click on the High, select a pair of planets and click on the amount of degrees that you want to add to this pair from this point.   This feature draws all the appropriate lines based on your specifications.   These lines can be projected as far into the future as you want.

Example: set the criteria to Jupiter, Saturn. Click the mouse on a high, next click on 15 degrees (Or any degree opening). The program will start drawing lines on the graph for every 15 degree opening between Jupiter and Saturn from the original points.

CALCULATIONS - All calculations are within 2 seconds of arc which makes this program highly accurate.

STICKY WINDOWS- is like little Post-It notes .. it is a brand new feature that allows you to size any chart wheel and view 1,2,3,9,10 or more on the screen at one time! Drop down windows and pull up only the ones you want at any time while you are working with any other module in the program.

ACS ATLAS AND TIME CHANGES- When calculating charts there is no need to search through the latitudes and longitudes and search for time changes to see if a zone is on standard or daylight time. The program comes with a mini- atlas of over 10,000 worldwide cities. Just enter the name of the town or city that you want and the coordinates and time zone changes are input automatically

STATISTICS MODULES - There are many STATISTICS MODULES as well to help you study various techniques to find out just how reliable they actually are. With one of those modules this is what I found in just two minutes: I took 20 years of Swiss Francs and found that when Venus and Mars are making an applying or separating trine (120/240)to each other in Right Ascension the price of the Swiss Franc goes up. This is shown by next graph.

PLANETS AND PRICES DIALOG BOX- Click the mouse cursor anywhere on any price graph on the screen and a horoscope wheel with all planetary positions and aspects for that day will be displayed in a dialog box on the screen. You can advance this horoscope to any day forward or backward with one click of the mouse. You can also bring up a dialog box displaying opens, highs, lows, close prices and the price movement from the previous day in dialog box on the screen by clicking anywhere on a price graph.

BAYER'S ANALYZE BAYER'S RULES- with only a click of the mouse and find out if they work, where and when. With all the statistic modules that we have in this program you can find what works and create any modules that you want.

SCREEN TABLES- These screen tables can be ephemerides for any date in time (Geocentric, Heliocentric, Declination and Latitude). You can view tables day to day for all types of progressions or directions types of progressions or directions of any natal chart. Bring onto the screen any of these tables with one click of the mouse. This is a great help to zero in on a specific day in your forecasting work.

PRINTING & SAVING- Most of the results can be stored in a file to be recalled later. Send to a printer or the clipboard or store as a BMP graphic to be pasted anywhere.

BRADLEY: Wait until you see what we did with the graphics ! With just a click of the mouse you reform the graph for a closer fit. Send the P values to a spreadsheet to do more statistic work. Calculate regular Bradley graphs or use some of the new graphs from models that I have made or make your own models. These models can be calculated using transit to transit like Bradley did or do the Lavoie’s Bradnat for any company using the 1^st trade chart. You can change any aspect value and watch the graph change right in front of your eyes. This feature is a TERRIFIC HELP for making the aspects values conform with a certain market. You can choose all the planets or only certain planets that you to use in your calculation. You can save the graph as a BMP file or copy it to a clipboard and paste it in other applications

BLACK BOX:  This module is made to evaluate stock charts, ingress, solstice, equinox charts, new and full Moon charts and totals of monthly aspects. The Black Box lets you make a model consisting of many aspects, orbs and numerical weights between planetary pairs to be evaluated by Weighing time or against charts. The BlackBox works between transiting planets to transiting planets, transiting planets to natal planets (natal charts), between one chart to every chart in a chart file or in charts within themselves. The results are displayed in beautiful graphics. You can display both the Natal and the transiting graph on the same screen. Quickly change the value of each of the aspects and the program will redraw the graph to the new value right away. Assign different values for different markets . Click any where on the graph and an info box will display all the planetary aspects and values for the day. Point the mouse at a beginning point and slide it to an ending point and the module will calculate and display the sum of all the negative and positive aspects for that period. With this you can measure the strength from new Moon to new Moon like Lt. Colonel David Williams was doing.

MULTI BOX:. Compare a whole with a single chart or horoscope. For example, compare a new Moon or Eclipse chart with a file of 1^st trade charts to weigh and sort in strength to see which company or companies are more prone to excel during the next month. Weigh a chart file within it self and by strength. This is good to weigh a chart files of new or full Moons for the market performance. Discover which 1^st trade chart has Venus in perihelion or Mercury’s speed is 59 minutes. See which chart has a fast Moon and Mercury is rising before the SUN.

A: It reads Metastock and CSI directly without need to convert.  It will also take any data is ACSII format

5) Is there any trial where I can actually try out the program?
A:. There is no demo of the actual program but the american VHS 2 hour video that tours one through the program functions is the closest thing to a demo that we have to see just what the program does and how it operates.  We sell that for $25 + shipping fees.
